Humble Beginnings & Big Business

Hospitality v-Marketing (HvM) began in 2003 offering only photography for hoteliers. As we grew, we understood the complexities of our clients’ needs.

Since 2003, we’ve grown to know that our customers need more than photos and video to promote their properties. Understanding these requirements, we expanded our service offerings to include cinematography, copywriting and graphic design services. We created the v-APP product line specifically to meet the emotional needs of our client’s audience.

As a creative full-service agency, offering photography, cinematography, copywriting and graphic design (web and print) we have been privileged to create products for the world’s most respected hoteliers such as Starwood, Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and others.

We started small in 2003. But we had one idea: “Meet the needs of every client like our life depends on it.” And we have done that so well, that we’ve seen incredible growth since then. We will continue to offer that caliber of service and product in the future ensuring that our clients are satisfied and that we stay in business – big business.

The biggest challenge I have is the preconceived notion that the property is like other Courtyard hotels – small without much meeting space. This property is 9 floors with 14,752 square feet of event space. The other challenge I have is to show we’re worth the drive from Dallas and Fort Worth.

We receive many of our prospects from the Dallas CVB and when we receive a RFP we know that we’re competing with about 60 other hotels. In the past, we were limited to the use of email, phone calls and email attachments (photos, pdf flyers and capacity charts) to demonstrate just how different were from our competitors as prospects were vetting properties to meet their need. We knew that people didn’t want to open attachments from emails – but we had no other choice.

Now we have the HvM v-APP™ v-Brochure™. The way we used to interact with prospect has completely changed. Every staff member that has contact with guests has the link to our v-Brochure in their email signature. Now, when I send my contact info via email and follow up with a call to talk with a prospect, I can immediately connect with them just by having them click the link in my email signature to the v-Brochure.

I can walk the prospect through my hotel in 3D with clickable charts and hotspots 360s on our floor-plans, and photo enlargements which helps people become familiar with the property. The greatest impact of the v-Brochure is the “wow-factor” it gives this hotel; it’s how people respond to it – “wow!” Now that I enjoy!

I have completed 4 photo shoots with HvM and each time I have noted they have always use the latest in technology.

What I enjoy is being able to see the photos while the HvM photographer is still onsite. I also appreciate the various types of image capture they produce while onsite - still, 360s, and video are all done at the same time allowing me to add to my hotel's image library over time which keeps my brand.com site fresh with new images and image assets.
